Delicate Snowflakes....and Red Jewels Amongst the Trees

Yesterday was one of those special, winter days that we were delighted to welcome....a special day for capturing a few photos of the beautiful Cardinals. Delicate snowflakes floated gently to the ground as the Cardinals, males & females, gathered round....in our shrubs & at our feeders. They posed as if to say "Take a photo, this is the perfect day to capture the essence of a wintry day!"
