NESTING BIRDS - JULY 2019
Richelle Hunter
Some birds, or even many birds, don’t pick the greatest spots to place their nests. Branches may be weak, breaking during a storm; nests often are knocked out of trees by weather, wind or predators. Still others nest on or near the ground, making them very vulnerable! If the species is one that prefers a cavity, you can lend a hand by placing birdhouses in your yard & adding a baffle along with a predator guard around the entrance hole.
