We have had some pretty crazy swings in the weather….from winter to summer-like temperatures, to fall to a crazy wind storm and now back to winter! The birds & squirrels (on ground below) are busy around our feeders this morning! Fill your cleaned feeders and add some clean water to your heated bird baths….then sit back & enjoy!

What a welcome to November, well, the 2nd day of November….but the forecast for later in the week looks pretty amazing!
It’s hard to believe that we are in the last week of October! Get outside, if you can, to enjoy the last of the fall colours….they have been pretty spectacular and still are in many places!

Following an amazing weekend of great weather for the Thanksgiving holiday, we had our first Junco of the season today! While others have reported sightings over the past few weeks, this is the first for us! Have a great week!

We have been waiting a number of weeks for shipments of NYJER SEED to arrive….happy to let you know that it is finally here! ‘Our’ American Goldfinches were pretty excited this morning!
While the Hummingbirds continue to be busy around the garden & sightings of Warblers, etc. continue, it is feeling & looking a little bit more like fall! Enjoy these sunny days….a wonderful time of the year!
